Adult Sunday School

From September – June on Sunday mornings between 10:00 – 10:45 all adults are welcome to come study with us. Deacon Nancy Coupland leads the group through an in-depth study of the Bible. Nancy has been teaching adults for years. Her love of scripture and teaching is evident as she helps her students dig deep into God’s Word. We will begin a new book of the Bible in September. Not only do we look at the historical significance of scripture we discover how it impacts our lives today.

Children's Church

After a children’s time during the service the children are invited to go out for Nursery or Rock Solid.

NURSERY - Our young people at First Baptist are very important to us. Preschool children are welcome in our well staffed Nursery Program. Our nursery room is bright and inviting, stocked with exciting activities and books. All our volunteers are screened using police checks and our own screening process. Your children will be well cared for by a group of very loving women.

SOLID ROCK - During the school year children grades JK – grade 8 leave the service for an age appropriate study. Well qualified teachers are selected using police checks and our own screening process. They bring the stories of the Bible to life with high energy games, songs and activities. Students are taught how to pray and listen to God. We are blessed with a large gymnasium and occasionally use this space for group activities.

YOUTH CLASS - Youth grades 9 and up are welcome in the service. The pastor provides questions to answer based on his sermon. During the last hymn the youth are invited to get a snack and join together for a lively discussion.
